Compulsory standard for children's shoes: GB 30585-2014
As a consumer group of children's shoes, children's foot function is still immature but lively and active, and their cognitive ability to the outside world is limited but full of curiosity. Their health and safety are vulnerable. Therefore, the healthy growth of children is closely related to the quality of children's shoes.
In order to regulate the children's shoes market and protect children's health and safety, the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the National Standardization Administration Committee issued the mandatory standard GB30585-2014 "Children's Shoes Safety Technical Specifications" on June 9, 2014, and in 2016 1 Formally implemented on the 1st of the month. This standard is a mandatory standard for children's footwear after the implementation of GB25036-2010 "clothing children's rubber shoes". After the official implementation of the standard, it will complement the GB25036-2010 to fully regulate the Chinese children's shoes market. This standard establishes the compulsory supervision of physical and mechanical safety performance, odor and limited substances for shoes worn by children other than children's rubber shoes for children aged 14 and under (shoe size not more than 250mm). It is to prevent and reduce the harm to children caused by potential insecure factors in children's footwear.
The physiological and psychological characteristics of children of different ages have obvious differences. Therefore, the standard requirements for children's shoes of different ages are divided into infant shoes of 3 years old and below and children's shoes of 3 years old to 14 years old.
1. Children's shoes requirements:
The standard requirements for children's shoes include physical and mechanical safety, odor and chemically limited substances. Among them, the physical and mechanical safety performance includes the requirements for the tip of the child's shoes, the broken needle, the sharpness of the touch and the edge, the steel hook, and the requirement of effective high to avoid the adultization of the children's shoes to affect their bone development. In the case of chemically limited substances, in addition to the corresponding limit requirements for hexavalent chromium, decomposable harmful aromatic amine dyes, formaldehyde and heavy metals (arsenic, lead, cadmium) in leather and fur, * phthalate for footwear products Dicarboxylic acid esters and dimethyl fumarate are subject to limited requirements and are consistent with EU and US regulations.
2. Requirements for infant shoes:
Infants and young children like to explore the outside world with their hands and mouth. They will pull, suck, and bite the things they get. Their skin is more immature, their organs are not yet mature, and they are more vulnerable. According to the habit characteristics of infants and young children and the ability to cope with dangers, the standard requirements for infant shoes increase the size, tensile strength and N-nitroso in rubber parts on the basis of meeting the requirements of children's shoes. The requirements of the amine, in addition to the requirements of phthalates are more stringent than the requirements of children's shoes, see the attached table.
The implementation of this mandatory standard will have a greater impact on related enterprises. The standard will promote the progress of children's shoes technology and the development of the market through the specification of children's shoes design and raw and auxiliary materials, thus creating a safe atmosphere for children's shoes products. To protect the healthy growth of children.
